Are your timers really stopping or is it an issue with the GUI?.

Another idea would be to install Raspbian Lite and add the touchscreen display functionality. But I'm not sure if this will do the trick. My thought was to strip out all unnecessary programs. I am running the latest version Raspbian Desktop with no additional programs. Each of these sensors need to be fairly accurate and processed at least every 10 seconds with the exception of the DHT22.
